Rule 99: A Pro knows when it’s time to go

Posted on February 5, 2024March 15, 2024 by Duncan Zaves
  • You aren’t paid fair market value.
  • There is no opportunity for growth.
  • Someone has made you an offer you can’t refuse.
  • You aren’t learning anymore.
  • You’ve become too jaded to be polite.
  • You don’t like the people around you.

There are lots of reasons to quit. The list above is not exhaustive.

Whatever the reason, a Pro knows deep down when it is time to move on. I hate saying “use your gut” but this is one of those times.

Enjoy your new job Pros. You deserve it. Don’t look back.
